Hanna Dawsey, 40, of Pocahontas, AR., formerly of McDougal, AR., went to Heaven with her son Asher Dawsey on Monday, November 4, 2024 at home. Mrs. Dawsey was born February 14, 1984 in Kansas City, KS. She was an R.N. with St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR., and nursing instructor with Black River Technical College in Pocahontas. Hanna loved Halloween and collecting sugar skulls. She also enjoyed going to the river, fishing, singing and spending time with her family and friends. She attended Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Corning.
Survivors include her mother Pamela Burns of Gideon, MO.; father David Burns of Corning, AR.; parents Charles and Nancy Pence of McDougal, AR.; brothers Nathan (Addie) Burns of Paragould, AR., Dale (Jennifer) Pence of St. Francis, AR., Jeremy (Hailey) Mooneyhan of Reyno, and Jerome (Kaneezsha) Dobbins of McDougal; sister Myria (Luke) Harmon of Paragould, AR.; nephews Caleb and Eli Burns, Andrew Pence, Jacob Mooneyhan, Ryan and Alex Dawsey; niece Samanda West; great nephew Gunner Pence; special friend Bradley Green and his son, Braiden; and many other relatives and friends and a special friend Stephanie.
She was preceded in death grandparents Wayne and Evelyn Kilbreth, Doyne and Dorothy Burns; great grandfather Othel Burns; special cousin Jessie Moore; and brother-in-law Wade Dawsey.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Reverend Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow the services at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR.
