Mr. Harvey Gene Thomas, 75, of Campbell, MO., passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at home. Mr. Thomas was born in Corning, AR., on February 23, 1940. He worked in construction, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping. He attended Moark Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by fourteen children Gene Thomas of Campbell, MO., Loren Thomas of Gibson, MO., Kristi Collins of Paragould, AR., Pam Henson of Corning, AR., Joe Helms of Lebanon, MO., Sarah Busson of Neelyville, MO., Dorie Thomas of Doniphan, MO., Danny Joe Thomas of Doniphan, MO., Loretta Thomas of Sikeston, MO., Allen Helms of Oxly, MO., Bill Helms of Oxly, MO, Bobby Helms of San Diego, CA., Versie Helms of San Diego, CA., Charlotte Helms of California; one sister Violet Rich of Illinois; forty-eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Thomas; his parents Loren Esco Thomas and Essie (Palmer) Thomas and one brother Carl Thomas.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel Reverend George Neilman officiating. Burial will follow the services at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
