Mrs. Hazel Caroline Weaver, 76, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at North East Arkansas Baptist Healthcare in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Weaver was born in Hickoria, AR., on July 5, 1935. She was a retired Nurse's Assistant. She was a member of Smith Chapel Curch in Boydsville, AR.
She married her husband Charles Everet "Butch" Weaver on June 3, 1993 in Jonesboro, AR. He preceded her in death June 9, 1993.
She is survived by one daughter Patty and husband Hughy Bland of Corning, AR.; one son Charlie Weaver and wife Jackie of Piggott, AR.; one brother Charlie Pence of McDougal, AR.; seven sisters Edna Hendrix of Rector, AR., Lillie Mae Drowns of Walnut Ridge, AR., Alice Clayton of McDougal, AR., Sharron Hawkins of McDougal, AR., Sue Hendrix of Qulin, MO., Shirley Derringer of Peach Orchard, AR., Matilda Russell of Walcott, AR.; thirteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Butch" Weaver; her parents Esco and Martha (Young) Pence; one son James Edward Thompson; two brothers Robert Pence and Jerry Pence.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ernie Rinks officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Visitaion will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
