Helen Banks

Mrs. Helen Marie Banks, 78, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Banks was born in Pocahontas, AR., on September 12, 1939. She was a homemaker and seamstress who enjoyed flower gardening, taking care of her pets, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Corning, AR.

She married her husband of 43 years Mr. Allen Bryan Banks on June 8, 1974. He survives, other survivors include her daughter Annah (Mark) Banks-Mullen of West Plains, MO.; sister Margie (Paul) Headley of Corning, AR.; two grandchildren Merris and Cawyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sammie and Zelma (Kazzee) Turner; her son Richard Kevin Hayes and sister Nelma Jean Kirby.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow the services at Williams Cemetery in Corning, AR. Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
