Henrietta West

Mrs. Henrietta “Grandma Het” West, 94, of Knobel, AR., passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mrs. West was born in Knobel, AR., on July 30, 1922. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Knobel School District. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, traveling, cooking, and reading. She was a member of Union Church at Knobel, AR.

She married her husband of 38 years Mr. Dennis B. West on June 8, 1942. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1980.

She is survived by her three children Dennis E. West and his wife Arlene of Dallas, TX., Margaret and her husband John Davidson of Hollister, MO., Edwin R. West and his wife Nancy of West Memphis, AR.; one sister Nina Muriel Rich of Lawrenceville, IN.; eleven grandchildren Floyd, June, Rose Ann, Jonathan, David, Mary, LeEtta, Dennis, Heather, Kristen, Daniel; nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Henry and Delcie (Bowers) Robb; one daughter Virginia R. Hancock; her brother Oran Robb and son-in-law Bobby Joe Hancock.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are James Ray, Stanley Ashby, Sam Hancock, Logan Hancock, Alisha Hancock and David West.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jim Mangrum, John Mangrum, Farm Service Guys, Community Center Tuesday Ladies, Nosey Neighbors Gang, and Dakota Forbes.
