Henry Gillean of Delaplaine, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Born on January 28, 1941, in Delaplaine, Henry dedicated 47 years of his career to Emerson Electric. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and cherishing moments with family and friends. A member of the Peach Orchard Pentecostal Church, his faith was an integral part of his life.

In 1962, Henry married the love of his life, Shirley Hubble, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years. She survives him, along with their son Jason Gillean of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Henry leaves behind a loving family, including siblings Patricia Rogers, Deonna Gray, Don Gillean, Dan Gillean, Darnell Bennett, Kathy Gillean, and Eddie Gillean. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Emmalee, Angie, and Shana, and is further enriched by his five great-grandchildren.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Clay and Wilma (Varner) Gillean, his son Rickey Gillean, and brothers Jessie, Glendale, Bobby, and James Dale Gillean.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM. Henry will be laid to rest in Pirtle Cemetery in Peach Orchard, Arkansas.
