Mrs. Hettie Virginia Pence, 96, of Pevely, MO., passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at home. Mrs. Pence was born in Clay County, AR., on June 2, 1917. She was a retired beautician.
She married her husband of 54 years Elmer Pence on May 10, 1936 in Hickoria, AR. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1990.
She is survived by one daughter Betty Eifert of Festus, MO.; three grandchildren Mark, Tom, Beth; three great-grandchildren Erin, Adam, Annie and one great-great-grandchild Savanah.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Thomas and Josephine (Noles) McLeskey; sister Julie Calhoun; two grandchildren Mike and Matt.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
