Hilda Rice

Mrs. Hilda Rice, 86, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday July 9, 2021 at Heritage Living Center in Conway, AR. Mrs. Rice was born April 22, 1935 in Corning, AR. She was retired from Basler Electric and Money Miser. Her favorite hobbies were cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

On October 16, 1954, she married Danny Lee Rice. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2008.

Survivors include her children Danna Rice of Corning, AR., Alan Rice and wife Laurie) of Conway, AR.; brother Ted Cobb of Corning, AR.; sister Jane and husband Larry Conyers of Rector, AR.; grandchildren Robin, Kelly, Danny (Sarah), Jeremy (Meghan), Nickolas (Thomas); and great-grandchildren Alex, Nichole, Abigail, Leah, Michaiah, Benjamin, Elisha, Parker, Penelope, Tommy and Nya; and great-great-grandchildren Dakota, Jayme and Jude.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Earl and Wilma (Richardson) Cobb; son Richard Rice; brothers Marvin "Bo" Cobb, Bill Cobb; sisters Martha Harbison, Joan Hovis, and Mary Lee; grandchildren Earl Rice and Jami Hill; and great-grandchildren Josiah and Enoch Rice.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
