Imogene Eaton

Mrs. Imogene Eaton, 91, of West Memphis, AR., formerly of Marianna, AR., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 10, 2020 at home. Mrs. Eaton was born in Corning, AR., on March 10, 1928. She was retired from First South Savings and Loan where she served as district manager. She enjoyed cooking and was a member of First Baptist Church in Marianna, AR.

On October 11, 1947, she married her husband Basil G. Eaton. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Glenn Eaton and wife Ginger of Mesquite, TX., Allyn Eaton and wife Rose of Jacksonville, AR., Chuck Eaton and wife Ann of West Memphis, AR.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Agnes (Wilson) Smith; brother Sterling Smith; sisters JoAnn Weaver and Mazie Hyland.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM in the Corning Cemetery with Reverend Rick Glover officiating. Visitation will be conducted Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
