Mrs. Lola Imogene Milburn, 87, of Cherokee Village, AR., formerly of Hickoria, AR., passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at home. Mrs. Milburn was born in Hickoria on Febraury 4, 1926. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Hickoria Missionary Baptist Church.
She married her husband of 50 years Ivan L. “Dugar” Milburn on December 14, 1946 in Hickoria. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1997.
She is survived by one son Rick Milburn of Cherokee Village. AR.; one step-son Luke Milburn of Modesto, CA.; two brothers Cecil Cate of Greenville, MO., Earl Cate of Ravenden Springs, AR.; five sisters Pauline Milburn of Corning, AR., Linda Welty of Corning, AR., Wanda Crossfield of Corning, AR., Carolyn Matheny of Hickoria, AR., Euvila Bland of Hickoria, AR.; two grandchildren Scott and Brian; one great-grandchild Allison and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband; one son Donnie Milburn; parents B.F. Cate and Ona (Woods) Cate; two brother Arvil Cate and Leon Cate.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Ernie Cate officiating. Burial will follow the services at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
