Ira Glasgow, Sr.

Mr. Ira Preston Glasgow, Sr., 67, of McDougal, AR., passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at home. Mr. Glasgow was born in Paragould, AR., on September 28, 1944. He was a Farmer. He enjoyed carpentry, working on cars, spending time outdoors and being with his grandchildren. He was affiliated with the Corning "Y" Pentecostal Church.
He married his wife of forty-five years Judy Diane (Weaver) Glasgow on May 18, 1967. She survives. Others survivors include two sons Ira Preston Glasgow, Jr. of McDougal, AR., Jarred Glasgow of McDougal, AR.; one daughter Michelle Burns of McDougal, AR.; three sisters Earlene Duke of West Plains, MO., Deloris Kirkwright of West Plains, MO., Charlene Putman of Oklahoma; ten grandchildren Karla Whitman, William Burns, Nick Hobson, Holly Eldridge, Bronson Edington, Zanuel Glasgow, Lyric "Sue" Glasgow, Timbre Glasgow, Emily Glasgow and Kohlton Glasgow.
He was preceded in death by his parents Orbon and Emiline (Hinkle) Glasgow; daughter Tracy Glasgow; five brothers Leman Glasgow, Claudia Glasgow, Johnny Glasgow, Earl Glasgow, Jack Glasgow; three sisters Imagene Dees, Mildred Duke and Viola Glasgow.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the Cantwell Cemetery near Corning. Visitation will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
