Mr. Junior Ray "J.R." Alexander, 71, of Knobel AR., passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge, AR. He was born in Knobel, AR., on August 29, 1942. He was a Mechanic, he enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Knobel.
He is survived by one son Dale Alexander of Knobel, AR.; one daughter Lois Caine of Georgia; one sister Edith Alexander of Palestine, AR.; one brother Jimmie Alexander of Palestine, AR.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert "Red" and Anna Belle (McPike) Alexander and one brother Charles Lee Alexander.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel. Visitation will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM until time of service.
