J.B. Wilson, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away March 27, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

Mr. Wilson was born September 8, 1939 in Cherry Valley, AR. He was retired from General Motors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching wrestling, and farming. He loved to spend time with his family and watch his granddaughter play softball. He was of the Baptist faith.

On April 7, 1960, he married Doris Childress. They would have celebrated their 63 rd wedding anniversary this year. Other survivors include his children Melanie (Phil) Whitehead of Hamel, IL; Shelly (Kim) Bush of Scottsville, KY, and Jonathan Wilson of Scottsville, KY; grandchildren Rachel, Phillip, Matthew, Amber and Cody; great grandchildren Madison, Matthew Lee, Wilson, Elliott, Logan, Kyleigh, Ruby, Audriana, Branson, Charli, and Scarlett; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Myrtle (Starns) Wilson; brothers J.W., J.E., J.R. and William Wilson; sisters Christine White, Josephine Miller, Evelene Bruce and Catherine Luttrell.

Visitation will be Saturday April 1 at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will be at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel.
