Jack L. Dunn, 59, of Corning, Arkansas, went to be with Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Jack was born on October 4, 1966, in Rockford, Illinois, to the late Jackie Willard and Betty Jean (Boshears) Dunn. Jack had previously work in maintenance and was well known for his generous heart and his love for music. He found great joy in singing at church, and for homebound individuals, at nursing homes, always sharing comfort and encouragement through song. He was a faithful member of Ignited Worship Center in Corning, Arkansas, where he played bass guitar. Above all, Jack treasured time spent with his family, friends and church.
On October 19, 1984, he married the love of his life, Rhonda Putman. They spent the next 41 plus years deeply loving each other in true testament of what marriage ought to look like.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Rhonda Dunn; his sister Dana Dunn of Effingham, Illinois; his godchildren, Derric Rapert of Newport, Arkansas, Toni McComb, Steven Rapert, Crystal Rapert, Alex Bowers and Cody Rapert, all of Corning, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; his brother-in-law Dale (Carolyn) Putman; sisters-in-law, Mary Rapert and Kathy Butler, both of Corning, Arkansas; and many other beloved friends and extended relatives.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother Walter Dunn; godson, Joshua Rapert; sisters in law, Theresea Moore, Carla Brokaw and Nita Conway; and his parents-in-law, Blaine and Shirley Rogers.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Errnert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with William Allen officiating. Burial will follow the services at Williams Cemetery in Corning, Arkansas.
Jack will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
