Jane Conyers

Jane Conyers, 72, of Rector passed away October 19, 2021 at home.

Mrs. Conyers was born October 14, 1949 in Clinton, IN. She was retired from Rector School District and Johansen Brothers Shoe Factory in Corning. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, decorating, playing games, shopping flea markets and yard sales. Jane was a member and Sunday School Teacher at New Life Christian Center in Rector.

On July 3, 1969, she married Larry Conyers. They recently celebrated their 52 ^nd wedding anniversary. She is also survived by her brother Ted Cobb. Jane was a member of the Cobb family and she was loved and considered a daughter to David and Mary Conyers, a sister to Linda, Pistol, Donna, Terry, Darlla, Billy and Rita. She was an aunt to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Wilma (Richardson) Cobb; twin sister Joan Hovis; brothers Bill and Marvin “Bo” Cobb; and sisters Martha Harbison, Mary Alice Lee, and Hilda Rice.

Visitation will be Monday October 25, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will be Tuesday October 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Phillip LaRue officiating. Burial will follow at Corning Cemetery.
