Mrs. Janet Lee Cooper, 67, of Poplar Bluff, MO., passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Cooper was born in Saint Louis, MO., on October 13, 1948. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time sewing and quilt making. She a member the House of Prayer in Corning, AR.
She married her husband of 49 years Cecil Dale Cooper on December 23, 1966, he survives. Other survivors include her special niece Michele and her husband Keith Ingram; her grandchildren Toby Ingram, Amber Ingram, Taylor Ingram; two brothers Richard Pierce of Corning, AR., Randall Pierce of Corning, AR.; three sisters Judy Henderson of Corning, AR., Pam and husband John Anderson of Shreveport, LA., and Becky and husband Chuck Wells of Corning, AR.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Junior Carlton and Lillian Faye (White) Pierce; three sisters Teresa Price, Donna Gilbee, Connie Hankins and one brother Delbert Pierce.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
