Mrs. Janetta Louise Harris, 71, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas, AR. Mrs. Harris was born in Corning, AR., on August 17, 1940. She was a homemaker.
She married her husband Ethelbert Harris on October 10, 1970. He preceded her in death October 8, 1995.
She is survived by her mother Ruby Geneve (Halcomb) Willis of Paragould, AR.; three sons Marvin Watson of Corning, AR., Steven Watson of Poplar Bluff, MO., Gene Harris of Saint Louis, MO.; two daughters Jeanita Talbert of Corning, AR., Dena Asis of Illinois; one brother Larry Ashlock of Blue Springs, MO.; Carol Moore of Paragould, AR., Betty Prevette of Missouri, Kathy Tabaka of Corning, AR., Debbie Durbin of Corning, AR.; nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; father William Marvin Willis; one son Terry Watson; one daughter Sheri Harris and one sister Marilyn Walgerman.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 14, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Public visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 from 5:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 12:45 PM.
