Jay Rigdon

Mr. Jay Lynn Rigdon, 53, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Rigdon was born in Piggott, AR., on May 12, 1965. Jay was retired from L.A. Darling in Corning, AR. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and camping. He was of the Christian faith.

He married his wife Mrs. Shelia Marie (Clem) Rigdon on January 3, 2009. She survives, other survivors include his children Matt Rigdon and wife Shelby of Corning, AR., Tiffany Whitman of Corning, AR., Whitney and husband Trent Edwards of Corning, AR., Justin Whitman and wife Karla of Corning, AR.; sister Rhonda and husband Terry Phillips of Piggott, AR.; grandchildren Riley, Katelyn, Jolie, Carter, Tucker; nephew Tray Rigdon and wife Tara of Piggott, AR.; great-niece Lexi and great-nephew Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents J.V. and Janice Sue (Robinson) Rigdon and brother Ronnie Rigdon.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 25, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Bradshaw and Bruce McGrew officiating. Burial will follow the services at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Visitation will be held Friday, May 12, 2018 from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
