Mr. JD Allen, 87, of Alton, MO., formerly of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Allen was born in Moark, AR., on May 11, 1933. He was a retired truckdriver who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He proudly served in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith.
On July 28, 1956, he married Betty Robinson. She preceded him in death on February 22, 2011.
Survivors include his son James Allen of Alton, MO.; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his son Danny Gene Allen and parents Earl and Destee Mable (Campbell) Allen.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
