Mrs. Jeannie King, 67, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. King was born in Biggers, AR., on October 26, 1945. She was an administrative/clerical typist for Corning Senior Citizen's Center and the Doni Martin Center in Pocahontas, AR. She enjoyed reading, singing old gospel hymns, playing card and computer games, entertaining friends and taking care of her family. She was Baptist in faith.
She married her husband Ira D. King, Sr., on April 28, 1972. He preceded her in death in November 2011.
She is survived by two sons Jim Sheffield of Rockford, IL., Ira D. King, Jr., of Corning, AR.; three daughters Ada Snyder of Rockford, IL., Carolyn Sue Lane of Walnut Ridge, AR., Jaime King of Saint Louis, MO.; one brother James Perry Molencupp; one sister Elizabeth Taylor; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Jess and Ada Belle (Holt) Molencupp; two sisters Lilly Belle Beck and Dora Huff.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 5:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Royce Boling officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 3:00 PM until the time of service.
