Jennie Janes

Jennie Janes, 81, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at home with her family. Mrs. Janes was born in Temple, TX., on June 21, 1940. She was retired from Robert Bosch Co. having been a molding operator for 23 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, working in the yard, watching movies and sightseeing. She was a member of the Knobel First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons Danny Janes of Corning, AR., Thomas Janes of Nashville, TN.; a daughter Mary Smith of Corning, AR.; a brother Cluiss Petty of Mount Pleasant, TX.; a sister Jannie Lamb of Sherman, TX.; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Delmar Janes; parents Raymond Edward and Kattie (Frazier) Petty; five brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR., with Rev. Rick Etheridge officiating.
