Jeri Lynn Dodd - Emmons

Ms. Jeri Lynn Dodd Emmons, 30, of Hot Springs, AR., passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at Delaplaine, AR. Jeri Lynn was born in Paragould, AR., on September 27, 1990. She was a Surgery Tech at AR Journey Lab. She loved water, fishing and golf. she was loved by many, had a very kind heart and an infectious laugh with a beautiful smile and a love for life. The many people who knew her loved her so very deeply. If she liked or loved you, she fought tooth and nail for you. Even if it was a complete stranger and felt that you needed her to come to your defense she was there. She will be deeply missed by all.

Jeri Lynn is survived by her children Rick "Bubby" Hudson, Jr., and Mason Drake Jayce Hudson of Reyno, AR., her mother Tina Dodd and step-father Walt Clay of Hot Springs, AR.; her father Jerry Dodd; three brothers Tyler Dodd, Alex Dodd and Rhett Dodd; two sisters Ashley McCants and Megan Dodd; a sister-in-law Megan Butler; a niece Isabella Dodd; two nephews Lane Dodd and Colton Dodd; her grandfather Joe E. Dodd of Knobel, AR.; aunts Heather and Shelia Mason of Hot Springs, AR.; uncles James Hovis, Jr., and Kirk Rustin of Virginia; close first cousins Chelsea Mason and Carly Hovis; many more cousins, great uncles and aunts, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Carl and Edna Roark; and grandparents Melvina Dodd, and Ronny and Nancy Oliver; and an aunt Jamey Hovis.

Funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
