Jeri Rush Taylor, aged 81, of Corning, Arkansas departed this life on December 28, 2025, at the Corning Therapy and Living Center.

Born on September 18, 1944, in Corning, Arkansas to Raymond and Mable (Dollins) Rush, Jeri dedicated much of her career to serving the community through her work at various local establishments, including Wallace and Owens Supermarket and Corning Hospital, before concluding her professional journey at Basler Electric. Outside of her work, she found joy in gardening, crocheting, and sewing, but her greatest treasure was the time spent with her family. Jeri was a devoted member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Corning.

On January 6, 1962, Jeri married Wayland Taylor, and they shared 45 loving years together until his passing on January 18, 2007. She was preceded in death by her son, David Taylor; her brother, Ricky Rush; and her beloved parents.

Jeri is survived by her daughters, Deborah Boshears of Alabama, Carla (Dale) Green, and Lynn Taylor, both of Corning, Arkansas. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Leslye, Sheena, Tasha, Amber, Sara, and Ricky; great-grandchildren Rannon, Baleigh, Caleb, Carlye, Kason, Adalynn, Allie, Kysen, Lucas, Leia, and Vincent; as well as great-great-grandchildren Adalynn, Camryn, Raidyn, and Thomas. She is also remembered fondly by many relatives and friends who will hold her memory close to their hearts.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Jerry Kirby, followed by burial at Corning Cemetery.

Jeri Rush Taylor's kind spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed and cherished by all who knew her.
