Jerry Davis

Jerry Davis, 67, of Doniphan, MO passed away July 7, 2021 at SSM Health Saint Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO. Jerry was born October 7, 1953 in Pocahontas, AR. He was a location manager for Farm Service, Inc. in Corning and a cattle farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending sporting events with his grandchildren. He loved coaching youth sports and did so in Corning for over 20 years. He was a member and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Doniphan where he and his wife attended church.

On September 2, 1989, he married Kelly Smith. She survives. Other survivors include his sons Brad (Ashley) Davis of Cabot, AR., Clint (Heather) Davis of Corning, AR., and Logan (Jessica) Davis of Pocahontas, AR.; brothers Jim (Sandy) Davis of Doniphan, MO., and Bob (Mary Ellen) Davis of Sheridan, AR.; and grandchildren Lillian, Jackson, Max, Rhett, Clay, Jacob, and Harper.

He was preceded in death by his parents O. E. “Shorty” and Marjorie (Owens) Davis.

Visitation will be Friday, July 9, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. On Saturday, July 10, 2021 a visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Doniphan, MO., from 12:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 2:00 PM with Reverend Monty Flanigan officiating. Burial will follow the service in Corning Cemetery.
