Jerry Harris

Mr. Jerry Wayne Harris, 72, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Jerry was born in San Francisco, CA., on October 13, 1945. He worked for the City of Corning street department. He enjoyed taking care of his dog Gator, horses, fishing, hunting, and visiting with friends and family.

Survivors include his children Teresa Harris of Loves Park, IL., Tammy Knight of Loves Park, IL., Ashley Wright of Corning, AR., Blake Wright of Corning, AR.; sister Sharon Campbell Arnold and husband Don of Corning, AR.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Earnest and Frances Ellen (Rice) Christian; brother Gary Lee Christian; sister Rose Wilson and daughter Angela Wright.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
