Mr. Jerry Lee Sharp, 68, of Brockwell, AR., passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, AR. Mr. Sharp was born in Black Oak, AR., on March 18, 1944. He was a retired maintenance worker, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Melbourne, AR.
He married his wife Earline (Payne) Sharp on February 14, 1979. She survives, other survivors include one son Logan Cozart of Southaven, MS.; three daughters Tammie Sharp of Winter Garden, FL., Becky McCranie of Trumann, AR., Julie Rainsweiler of Broken Arrow, OK.; one brother Carl Sharp of Licking, MO.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby Isom and Albert Sharp; one brother A.J. Sharp; two sisters Margaret Sharp and Bonnie Sanderford.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR., with Ronnie Floyd officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 12:00 until 1:30 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home.
