Mr. Jerry Morrisdean Williams, 80, of Success, AR., passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at home. Mr. Williams was born in Leachville, AR., on January 13,1933. He was a retired mechanic from Corning Implement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and coaching Little League Baseball. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of Success First Baptist Church.
He married his wife of 53 years Priscilla Lane (Crowell) Williams on July 9, 1960. She survives. Other survivors include one son Steve Williams and wife Amy of Jonesboro, AR.; one daughter Rhonda Moore of Fayetteville, AR.; one brother Vic Williams of Conroe, TX.; three sisters Geraldine Duff of Memphis, TN., Laverne Fischer of Waterloo, IL., Bonnie Crafton of Rogers, AR.; five grandchildren Kristen Clark, Tara and husband John Woods, Ross Clark and wife Melissa, Jared Williams and wife Lindsey, Madison Williams and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Lee and Dessie Victoria (Lofton) Williams; one brother Johnnie Williams; one sister Betty Johnson and son-in-law Rudy Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR.
Visitation will be conducted Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
