Mr. Jerry Yates, 42, of Success, AR., passed away Monday, September 20, 2010 at Baptist East Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Mr. Yates was born in Doniphan, MO., he was a farmer, he was affiliated with Sutton Freewill Baptist Church in Pocahontas, AR.
He is survived by one son William Yates of Pocahontas, AR.; one daughter Felicia Yates of Pocahontas, AR.; two brothers Bobby Yates of Corning, AR., Corkey Yates of Munford, TN.; three sisters Georgia Knowlton of Success, AR., Connie Tharp of Alton, MO., Carol Yates of Tipton, MO.; and fiancé Donna Fires.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Lee and Faye Truly Mae (Cavitt) Yates.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow the service in Hitt Cemetery at Success, AR. Public visitation will be Wednesday, Setember 22, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
