Jim Johnson, 78, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at home. Mr. Johnson was born August 23, 1945 in Neelyville, MO. He retired as a supervisor from Vitronic after working there for 30 years. He farmed for the Lamb Brothers and Gary Hart. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He loved spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

On February 4, 1966, he married Marie Lour. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last month. Other survivors include their son Rodney (Karla) Johnson of Fayetteville, AR.; grandchildren Forrest (Erin) Johnson and Rachel (Josh) Neal; great grandson Otto Johnson; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johnie and Vera (Finnie) Johnson; brothers Charles “PeeWee” and Bob Johnson; and sister Dorothy Hart.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow the services Johnston Cemetery in Reyno, AR.
