Jim Sheffield

Mr. James Ray "Jimmy" Sheffield, 50, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Sheffield was born in Rockford, IL., on December 2, 1965. He was a home health aide who enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching sports especially all teams Chicago, collecting coins, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Corning.

He is survived by his daughter Lauren Sheffield of Rockford, IL.; mother of his daughter and the love of his life Brenda Sheffield of Rockford, IL.; two sisters Ada Sheffield-Snyder of Rockford, IL., Jaime King of Corning, AR.; one brother Ira King and wife Crystal of Corning, AR.; six nieces Melissa Snyder, Amanda Sanders, Jessica Snyder, Amber Carmona, Bailye Raven King, Patience King; two nephews Gage Meredith, Maddox King; two uncles Don King and wife Wanda, Larry King and wife Brenda; one aunt Elizabeth Taylor; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ira and Jeannie King.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Michael officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
