Jim Creameans, Sr.

Jim Creameans, Sr., 74, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at home. Mr. Creameans was born February 20, 1949 in South Haven, MI. He was retired from Cherokee Village Police Department where he was a Lieutenant. Jim enjoyed bartering, trading, fishing, travel, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He proudly served his country as a member of United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include his children Jim Creameans, Jr., Shelia Brown, Timmy Creameans, Kimberly Brakefield-Morley Creameans, and Mary Creameans, all of Corning, AR., and Betty Huffman of Hardy, AR.; brother Larry Creameans of Battle Creek, MI; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Sue (Hembrey) Creameans; brothers Butch, Dubb, and Jack Creameans; sisters Trudy Colter and Mary Jones; great-grandchildren Justice Brakefield and Blair Flatt.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Military Honors will be presented follow the memorial service at Williams Cemetery in Corning, AR.
