Jimmie Wayne Leonard

Jimmie Wayne Leonard, 69, of Corning passed away September 19, 2024 at Corning Therapy and Living Center.

Mr. Leonard was born June 16, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, MO and he was a lifelong resident of Corning.

He is survived by several extended family members and friends, including cousins, Scott, David, Bruce, Mark and Dan Taylor, Shelia Bowers, Billie Jean Byes, and Libby Martin.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents Willard “J.W.” and Loretta Leonard; uncles and aunts, J. D. and Nettie Lou Taylor, Lorene and Bill Taylor and Lenora Rolley.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday October 1, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Corning Cemetery with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
