Mr. James Joseph “Jimmy” Briney, Jr., 37, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at home. Mr. Briney was born on March 12, 1980., in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was self-employed and did floor installation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and looking for arrowheads. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his father Jim Briney of Corning, AR.; brother Don Smith of Knobel, AR.; two sisters Donna Malloy of Benton, AR., Sonya Crossfield of Knobel, AR.; a special nephew Joe Crossfield; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ellen Loise (Dollins) Briney.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Jamey Bland officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
