Mr. Jimmy Delois Smith, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at home. Mr. Smith was born in Saint Louis, MO., on November 13, 1939. He was a retired farmer, he also worked several years for the Chrysler Corporation. He enjoy playing guiter and listening to music. He was a member of the Old Millhouse General Baptist Church in Corning.
He is survived by five children Terry Smith of Corning, AR., Don Smith of Corning, AR., Toshya Griffen of Pevely, MO., Tonya Wolbert of Corning, AR., Derick Smith of High Ridge, MO.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Burl Octo and Ester Naomi (Hargraves) Smith and one grandson Bradley Griffin.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Randy Gray and Junior Bennett officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
