Jimmy Ladd, Sr.

Mr. Jimmy Wayne Ladd, Sr., 58, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Ladd was born in Monette, AR., on February 18, 1955. He was retired from L.A. Darling Store Fixtures. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and racing. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He married his wife Carla Lynn (Wooldridge) Ladd on March 3, 1975. She survives. Other survivors are two children Jimmy Ladd and wife Tonya of Corning, AR., Sherri and husband Billy Hopkins of Corning, AR.; mother Roberta Ann (Foster) Ladd of Corning, AR.; three brothers Terry Ladd and wife Wendi of Corning, AR., Jerry Ladd and wife Glenda of Corning, AR., David Ladd and wife Judy of Corning, AR.; one sister Cathy and husband Bobby Harpole of Imboden, AR.; six grandchildren Krissy Ladd, Sam Ladd, David Ladd, Carlee Hopkins, Terry Don Hopkins, Ricky Hopkins; several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Shelby Leon Ladd, Sr. and brother Shelby Ladd, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Bradshaw officiating, Burial will follow the service in Black Cemetery near Success, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
