Jo Reta Bartlett

Mrs. Jo Reta Bartlett, 87, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, AR. Mrs. Bartlett was born in Corning, AR., on September 23, 1933. She was retired and had worked at both Johansen Brothers Shoe Factory in Corning and Brown Shoe Factory in Pocahontas, AR. She enjoyed reading and was a member of First Apostolic Church in Corning.

She married Joe Tom Bartlett more than 40 years ago. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2021.

Survivors include her sisters Sterling Porter of Batesville, AR., Leta Faye Cook of Stillman Valley, IL.; and many other family members and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Roy and Juanita (Dunning) Wallace; brother Charles Wallace; and sister Bonnie Trites.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted Friday. May 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Corning Cemetery with Reverends Chris Dixon and Troy Johnson officiating.
