Mrs. Jo Ann (Lowe) Pruitt, 81, of Paragould, AR., passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Pruitt was born in Saint Louis, MO., on May 16, 1936. She was a retired C.N.A. who enjoyed attending church, fishing, and spending time with her family. She attended New Life Temple in Paragould, AR.
She is survived by her six children Joyce and husband Curtis Brown of Yuma, AZ., Raymond Loyd and wife Kathy of Corning, AR., Timothy Loyd of Paragould, AR., Lisa and husband Dennis Barber of Maynard, AR., Brian Loyd of Paragould, AR., Scott Pruitt of Paragould, AR.; two sisters Elberta and husband Coram Davis of Hoyleton, IL., Sue Cox of Beebe, AR.; sister-in-law Linda and husband Byron Meridith of Corning, AR.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Shirley White, one son Wayne Loyd; her parents Raymond and Lucille (James) Lowe; brother Elbert Lowe and sister Iris Lavy.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Hays officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Maynard Cemetery, Maynard, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
