Mr. Joe Earl Brown, 73, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at home. Mr. Brown was born in Lepanto, AR., on October 6, 1944. He was owner of Joe Brown’s Backhoe and Trenching. He enjoyed scuba diving, deer hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States National Guard. He was of the Pentecost faith.
He married his wife of 52 years Mrs. Mary Sue (Mansker) Brown on October 14, 1966. She survives, other survivors include two sons Shannon Brown of McDougal, AR., Shawn Brown of Corning, AR.; brother Bobby Brown and wife Carol Brown of McDougal, AR.; sister Wanda Roark of McDougal, AR.; four grandchildren Lorean, Reagen, Halie, Landon; three great-grandchildren Jett, Jackson, Korvin; brother-in-law John Mansker and sister-in-law Ramona Mansker.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marion Leo “Jim” Brown and Lalia Mae (Holt) Brown; two brothers Billy Jewel Brown, Jimmy Leon Brown and brother-in-law Jackie Roark.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
