Joe Dodd

Joe Dodd, 91, of Knobel, passed away March 20, 2026, at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mr. Dodd was born March 2, 1935, in Mountain View, Missouri. A lifelong farmer, he dedicated many years to working the land. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed making clocks and rings, as well as carpentry and hunting. He had a special appreciation for photographs and the memories they preserved. He was a Christian and a member of New Life Family Church in Knobel.

On March 5, 1953, he married Ida Melvina Dodd. They shared 65 years of marriage before her passing on September 28, 2018.

He is survived by his sons, Ralph E. Dodd, Joe R. Dodd, Michael W. (Leah) Dodd, and Jerry L. Dodd, all of Knobel, Arkansas; his brother, Tom (Inez) Dodd; sisters, Irene Smith, Edna (Glen) Booth, and Wilma Morgan; grandchildren Brian, Amber, Scott, Christie, Blake, Kaitlin, James, Karen, Ashley, Megan, Tyler, Alex, Rhett; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, Ethan and Vera (Frisk) Dodd; a grandson, Daniel Wayne Dodd and grand daughter Jeri Lynn Dodd and great-grandson, Gage Dodd
