Mr. Johnie Lafayette Tyler, 62, of Pollard, AR. passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, AR. Mr. Tyler was a retired Over-the-Road Truck Driver, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, he was of the Baptist Faith.
He married his wife Ruth Ann (Renfro) Tyler on May 1, 1999, she survives. Other survivers include 10 children James Henry, Sandra Gail, Tonya Jean, Sandra Dee, LaDonna June, Johnie Jr., Jimmy Dale, Robert Heath, Justin Elvis and Tasha Michelle; 17 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Hazel (Floyd) Howell; four brothers and one sister.
Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Tim McCleskey officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Public visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
