Johnny Lucas

Mr. Johnny Ray Lucas, 69, of Reyno, AR., passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Lucas was born in East Saint Louis, MO., on December 30, 1949. He was a retired postal carrier. Johnny proudly served his country as a member if the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He attended Reyno First Baptist Church.

On August 3, 1973, he married Susane Jane (VanNada) Lucas. She preceded him in death on January 25, 2015.

He is survived by his children Jennifer Lucas of Reyno, AR., Mark Lucas and wife Crystal of Reyno, AR.,  brother Billy Lucas of Paragould, AR.; Seven grandchildren Colby Lucas, Paul Rainwater, Jordan Rainwater, Carson Rainwater, Presley Hall, Landon Lucas, Lane Lucas and great-grandson Tyson Rainwater.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents John William Lucas and Bessie Faye (Gould) Hancock; and his sister Marsha Faye Lucas.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
