Jonas Vanpool

Mr. Jonas Vanpool, 39, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019. Mr. Vanpool was born in Paragould, AR., on September 13, 1980. He was a Master Electrician. He enjoyed spending time with his children, playing basketball, hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He married his wife Kristi Renee (Lewis) Vanpool on May 27, 2015. She survives, other survivors include his children Alec Vanpool of Doniphan, MO., Clayton Vanpool, Noah Vanpool, Jakob Cox and Sidney Cox all of Corning, AR.; his father Tony Vanpool, his grandmother Wilma Kavy; and siblings Rachel Holland, Kenny Holland, Jessica Holland, Jordan Holland, Jessica Montiano, Kerri Vanpool and Lindsey Vanpool.

He was preceded in death by his mother Shelia Mar (Dunn) Holland; and grandparents Pete Kavy, Dorothy Hale, Ed and Ruth Wilder.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the services at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 2:00 PM until the time of services.
