Joseph F. Aden

Mr. Joseph F. Aden, 72, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. Mr. Aden was born in Datto, AR., on April 5, 1940. He was a retired machinist from General Electric Company in Saint Louis, MO. He served as Deputy Sheriff in Arnold, MO. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching birds and wildlife, flower gardening, spending time outdoors, woodworking and tinkering with lawn mowers. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a long time pastor in the Saint Louis area serving several churches for over thirty years. Since moving to Corning he attended Millhouse General Baptist Church.

He married his wife Ruth Dianne (Jennings) Aden on May 11, 1997, she survives. Other suvivors include four sons Joshua Aden of Saint Louis, MO., Dennis Templeton and wife Judy of Piggott, AR., Leon Bone and wife Shelly of New Haven, MO., Edward Bone of Perryville, MO.; four daughters Constance Duke of Saint Louis, MO., Billie and husband Ricky Roe of Granite City, IL., Patty Allen of Corning, AR., Goldie Grey of Saint Louis, MO.; two brothers Jesse Aden, Robert Aden; four sisters Sandra Gilford, Judy Smith, Lorene Luna, Mary Aden; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Morris and Roberta (Deckard) Aden; two children Michael Edward Aden, Debra Michelle Aden; one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Parrish and Dennis Templeton officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Nelson Cemetery near Reyno, AR. Visitaion will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
