Josephine Aquino

August 20, 1927 — June 3, 2022

Josephine Aquino, 94, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at Randolph County Nursing Home on Pocahontas. Ms. Aquino was born in Elm Store, AR., on August 20, 1927. She was a homemaker. During World War II she worked at Massey Ferguson Tractors. She enjoyed Reading her Bible, visiting, listening to music and watching TV. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her Joe (Janis) Aquino of Taylor, MI.; and her daughter Sandy Aquino of Irish Hills, MI.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Several other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Adline (England) Tanner; brothers Leonard, Houston and Clifton Tanner; and sisters Cecile Weaver and Eathel Street.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 12:00 in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
