Mrs. Norma Joyce Locke, 79, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Locke was born in Boydsville, AR., on July 29, 1935. She was a Preschool Teacher and a homemaker. She enjoyed birdwatching, crocheting, watching westerns and spending time with her family. She attended Mars Hill Methodist Church.
She was married her husband Herb Locke on May 16, 1963. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters Shelia and husband Tim Bauschlicher of
Corning, AR., Rene Locke of Houma, LA., Jeanette Grissom of Corning, AR.; one sister Wilma Allen of Pollard, AR.; one brother Rex Phillips of Cabot, AR.; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Odis and Georgia (Bradberry) Phillips; and her son Danny Wilson.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM in
the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services at
New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday,
October 7, 2014 from 12:00 PM until time of service.
