Judy Glasgow

Judy Glasgow, 74, of Corning passed away October 12, 2021 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Glasgow was born May 1, 1947 in Corning. She worked at Hart’s Furniture and BRAD in addition to being a homemaker. She enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets, but loved taking care of and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

On May 18, 1967, she married her husband of 45 years, Ira Preston Glasgow, Sr. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2012.

Survivors include her children Michelle Glasgow Burns Hobson, Ira Preston Glasgow, Jr. and Jarred Glasgow all of McDougal; brother William "Feaker" Weaver of Corning; sisters  Wilma “Midge” Glasgow, Peggy McKinney, Norma “Jean” Weaver, all of Corning and Shirley Baker of Piggott; grandchildren Karla (Justin) Whitman, William (Morgan) Burns, Nick Hobson, Holly (Leonard) Theis, Bronson (Stacy) Edington, Zanuel Glasgow, Lyric Glasgow, Timbre Glasgow, Emily Shepard and Kohlton Glasgow; and great grandchildren Tucker, Maylee, Beckett, Katya, Karliee, Kyliee, Kynliee, Dalton, and Emery.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter Tracy Glasgow; parents Alfred and Myrtle Mae (Cash) Weaver; brothers Bill, Jesse, Charlie "Butch" and Alfred Weaver, Jr.; and sister Alice Smith.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cantwell Cemetery in Corning.
