Mr. David Justin “Jug” Pence, 40, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 peacefully at home. Mr. Pence was born in Pocahontas, AR., on September 11, 1976. He was a truck driver who enjoyed fishing, music, and coloring books. He was a Christian.
His survivors include the love of his life Jennifer Pence of Corning, AR.; his children Justin Pence of Corning, AR., Ali Pence of Corning, AR.; his mother Debra Pence of Corning, AR.; grandmother Helen Pierce of Corning, AR.; siblings Shonda Pence of Corning, AR., Logan Pence of Corning, AR., Sharia and husband Tim Shipman of Corning, AR; nieces MaKenna Shipman, Lyla Pence, Whitney Edwards; nephew Landon Berry; great-nieces Jolie Edwards, Carter Edwards; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father David Pence; paternal grandparents Melvin “Gene” and Viola Pansy (Harpole) Pence, and maternal grandfather Donald Pierce.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 3, 2017 at 4:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 from 3:00 PM until the time of services.
