Mrs. Margarette June Lunsford-Sanders, 79, of Sherwood AR., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 14, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Sanders was born in McDougal, AR., on June 5, 1938. She was for many years a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a member of North Hills Baptist Church of Sherwood, AR.
She is survived by her husband Robert Sanders of the home; three children Lynn Lunsford-McVaney of Florida, David Lunsford of Corning, AR., Gale Lunsford of Florida; two step-children David Sanders of Sherwood, AR., Ruth Morris of New York; one brother James Ward of Piggott, AR.; two sisters Edna Cato of Corning, AR., Glenda Hill of Little Rock, AR.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents Aubrary and Maria (Warbritton) Ward.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jim Ward officiating. Burial will follow the services in Redenbo Cemetery near Corning. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
A memorial service will be held at North Hills Baptist Church in Sherwood, AR., on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM
