Junior Allmon

Mr. Everett Allmon, Jr. 86, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday December 6, 2010 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Allmon was a farmer. He was a past member of Riceland Food Board and Corning School Board. He was a member and elder of the McDougal Church of Christ.
He married his wife Alene (Bridges) Allmon on July 3, 1942, she preceded him in death on October 13, 2010.
He is survived by one son Wayne Allmon and wife Linda of McDougal, AR.; two grandsons Brady Allmon and wife Kristi of Paragould, AR., Britt Allmon and wife Christal of McDougal, AR.; four great grandchildren Nicholas, Veronica, Camille, and Brent Allmon.
He was preceded in death by wife Alene Allmon; parents Everett Allmon, Sr. and Rovilla (Waddle) Allmon; one brother Joe Allmon; and three sisters Ina Thomas, Cecil Davis, and Juanita Drum.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow the service inPost Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR. Public visation will be Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crowley’s Ridge Academy, 606 Academy Dr., Paragould, AR 72450 or Post Oak Cemetery Fund, McDougal, AR.
