Clevo Lucas "Junior" Ruff, Jr., of Pocahontas formerly of Corning, Arkansas. 89, passed away on June 18, 2026, at the Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Born on November 7, 1939, in Clay County, Arkansas

Junior's education concluded at the 5th-grade level, but his wisdom and character spoke volumes beyond formal schooling. He found great joy and solace in attending church, where his faith was a cornerstone of his life. An avid reader of his Bible, he embraced the spiritual teachings that guided him through life’s challenges. His passions also extended to cars and watching westerns, hobbies that brought him both entertainment and peace.

While Junior’s professional life was principally rooted in his role as a factory worker, it was his personal warmth and kindness that truly defined his character. Through the years, he touched the lives of many with his gentle spirit and enduring strength.

He is preceded in death by Clevo Ruff and Lenora Foster Vinson, whose memories he cherished deeply. Left to remember him with affection are several nieces, nephews, and cousins who carry forward his legacy of love and resilience.

Services honoring Junior will begin with a visitation in the Ermert Funeral Chapel on June 22, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This will be followed by a graveside service at Corning Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with Earl Ladyman officiating. 

Junior's life was a testament to dignity, faith, and quiet strength. His memory will continue to inspire those who knew him, providing comfort and a lasting example of integrity and heartfelt devotion.
